Create Model Page

One may follow these steps on video.

STEP 1:  Copy Model Page to Create a New Page

[ overview ] In order to keep this process really simple, any model page that is completed can be copied and used again on a new model page.

In order to make the overview happen you will need to log into CGOR admin.  Once logged in look for a model page under “Pages”.  The one I will use is called “Alexander Palm Home”.  Once you find it click on it.  

In order to get the formatting of the page one will need to view the content as “Text” :  one will see a Visual tab and a Text tab on the content window.  Click the “Text” tab.

Now you should see a bunch of code with text .. select all .. then copy.

Once copied then you will click “Add new” or click on a page that has a model that you want to update the content.

STEP 2:  Page Creation and Settings

Once you are on the new page you will need to do the same thing as above … click on “Text” tab in the content except this time you will paste the content into content box.

Then under “Page Attributes”  change the “Template” to “Full Width Template”.

Now switch it back to “Visual” tab … modify the content … add title then publish.

ADDON STEP:

In order to add it to the menu  you will need to go under “Appearance > Menu”.  Once there make sure you are on the “Main Menu” … then add the page you just created to the menu … drag to the right place and click “Save Menu.”
